Application Support Engineer

Madigan Solutions is a company focused on the delivery of Identity & Access Management security solutions based in Northern Ireland but providing services to organisations across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
We are looking for a technically focused individual with a passion for IT and a solid understanding of programming and SQL to join our team as an Application Support Engineer. This role is ideal for someone with one or two years of experience who possesses a breadth of technical knowledge and is eager to delve into Identity & Access Management concepts.
- Provide technical support for applications, addressing user issues and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software bugs
Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of applications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and updates
Scripting and Automation
- Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance system efficiency
- Contribute to the automation of deployment and configuration processes
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address complex problems
- Stay current with programming languages, SQL, and emerging technologies
- Actively participate in training sessions to expand expertise in Identity & Access Management
- Enthusiastic about a career in Enterprise Information Technology Security

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- 1-2 years of experience in application support or a related technical role

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and apply knowledge in Identity & Access Management
35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, 1 hour lunch break.
