Identity Consultant
An Identity Consultant at Madigan Solutions is expected to help customers realise the benefits from their investment in IBM Identity technology including Verify, Verify Identity Access, Verify Identity Governance, Verify Privilege Vault, and the HashiCorp suite.
Main Duties
- Engage with customers in a professional services capacity
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support
- Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team, including apprentices
- Provide technical pre-sales support to Business Development
Desirable Skills & Experience
- 3 years experience in either Verify (SaaS), Verify Identity Access, Verify Identity Governance, Verify Privilege Vault, or HashiCorp Vault
- Demonstrably strong LDAP and RDBMS skills
- System integration skills (APIs, REST, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Practical programming skills in JavaScript, Java, and shell scripting
- Knowledge of networking, routing, firewalls, and Linux & Windows servers
- Ideally, experience working with containers
- Minimum of 3 customer engagements for customers with a minimum of 1,000 employees

Entry Requirements
- 2 A levels – one of which must be either Mathematics, Computer Science or any other science-based subject
- 6 GCSEs at grade A-C (Mathematics and English are mandatory)
- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline is desirable, but relevant experience will be considered in its absence
Working Week
35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, 1 hour lunch break.

Support Engineer Apprentice
The successful candidate will be part of a support team providing services to large organisations around the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will be exposed to enterprise systems, networks, cloud services and infrastructure using a myriad of technologies and protocols. You will play a key role in delivering a quality support function and with time (and experience) evolve to play an active role in leading customer engagements.
Main Duties
- Respond to customer support requests.
- Maintain and manage enterprise systems, including installation, patching and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and test disaster recovery plans.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and third-party service providers.

- Effective communicator – both written and verbal

- Practical and logical - able to solve problems/troubleshoot
